LEDLENSER is the number one flashlight company in Europe. #LEDBYLIGHT was an international campaign introducing LEDLENSER to the North American market. Working with an agency LEDbyLight told the stories of users of Ledlenser flashlights and headlamps in aspirational ways. From a glacier pilot in Alaska getting his plane ready in the morning to a flyfisher woman in Colorado getting her gear set for the day, the campaign focused on 2-3min videos highlighting the way that Ledlenser helped the subjects extend their day. A lot went into the selection of the talent: their story, their popularity on social media, and the activity had to be aspirational to be included.
Campaign Videos
The Angler was shot on location in Colorado with flyfisher Maddie Brenneman. We captured footage and photography of Maddie using LEDLENSER products to prepare her gear for a day of fishing.
We traveled to Alaska to shoot The Pilot, a short about glacier pilot David Lee of Sheldon Air Services preping his plane for a day of flying.
The machinist featured a local metal worker who uses LEDLENSER in his machine shop. LEDLENSER wanted one of the videos to feature their industrial line of lights and the visuals in this shop were compelling.
